Passing $400K, average Denver-area house sale prices hit all-time high

The average sales price for a single-family detached home in metro Denver climbed to $402,302 in April, according to the latest data from multiple listing service REcolorado.

Average detached home prices in the area have never topped $400,000 before, according to REcolorado. The new average represents an 11 percent increase over prices in April 2014 and and a 2 percent increase from March.
